At home in Azalea Residences Baguio




The place where I felt at home.

I’ve been always thinking of a place where I could stay with my family in Baguio. When I got the chance to travel with my fellow bloggers, I grabbed the opportunity. From the day I set my foot on their ground on May 12 until the day we left on May 14, the warmth of their hospitality made our stay so memorable. It was such a wonderful vacation! So relaxing, the hotel staff are all friendly and accommodating. Not only that, they made us feel that we’re all part of their family.

Azalea Residences got their name from the Azalea flower, which means longing for hope and can be found anywhere in Baguio. It is the first 4-star serviced hotel at Leonard Wood Loop, Baguio City, which is built near tourist destinations and far from the traffic road for the travelers to enjoy a good staycation.




The suites are quite impressive! It’s like you’re just staying at home. As a big group, we never had any difficulty choosing the rooms that can accommodate us. Our 2-bedroom suite has full kitchen facility, where we may do simple cooking, re-heat food or just keep our snacks and drinks in our very own freezer. Cook wares can be provided upon request. The dining area is big enough for the 6 of us. You will enjoy the 24-hour use of the wi-fi connection and if you want to play board games, their front office can lend you.







Each of our rooms has a queen size bed with TV. The master’s bedroom has its own bathroom and another common bathroom. The living room has a collapsible sofa bed and TV as well.



For kids who want to enjoy playing outside, they have a kid-safe playground.




The façade is so breathtaking! Even at night, as I go out to the balcony of our room, the smell of pine trees calms me down.






I gained weight during our stay, because of their sumptuous dishes at the Tradisyon Comfort Food restaurant of the hotel. Each day, they have different types of food served. They served Filipino, Italian, & Mongolian. I totally forgot about my diet!
