Beautiful Places in Albay

Image
It's my pride to have a blood of Bicolana. I grew up in Manila and was raised to know all the qualities of a Bicolana and their culture. When I was a child, I always get excited when I hear my mom planning of visiting her hometown. Albay is one of the places in Bicol that we pass whenever we go there. Albay is well known as the place where we can find the famous Mayon Volcano. This is what most of us know about Albay, and let me tell you, there are so many hidden and known beauties. Albay has a certaain charm that will sweep you off your feet and bring you to the time that was or give you a majestic feeling that is simply beyond words. Early Mother's Day Celebration at King Chef

Image
It's just few days away before Mother's Day and what a great day to have a date with my son, Tristan! Spending time with him is one of the best days ever! I have always been a fan of Chinese food since childhood. I'm pure Filipino and spent childhood in Chinatown Binondo where I studied in Grade school, and that's how I was introduced to Chinese cuisine. I like doing both. The kropek, appetizing while deciding what to order or while waiting food to be served.  On our table, with my son, and some friends with their moms, we were served the Set B meal.  The exciting part begins with Peking duck ! I love watching how it is p...

Kinder Day at Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant

Image
What comes into my mind when I hear about a German restaurant is their freshly brewed German beer in a mug as big as a pitcher, sausages and other cuisines that I am not so familiar with. It is a surprise to me when I went to Brotzeit with my daughter Rain when we saw an activity corner (Megabloks and other toys) with lots of kids meeting new friends that brings out their creativity. I wasn't expecting it to be as family friendly and accommodating staff like what we've experienced  at Brotzeit! Rain and here friend Abi were both amazed with the nice ambiance that every family would appreciate. Instead of ordering first, the girls explored the place, tried the kiddie corner and other toys. After a while of playing, they realized that they are already hungry. Rain normally is a picky eater and would just eat a very small amount like half a cup of rice and viand. Here, I am observing if she will be interested to try eating more. For a start, Rain order...
